Welcome Dual Pilgrim 5,000!!!!!!!

We are very happy to welcome the 5,000th Dual Pilgrim, who arrived in Santiago on October 8 2023!!!!!

June-Lian Mok, from Singapore, was the 5,000th person to walk the Camino de Santiago and the Kumano Kodo. She arrived in Santiago accompanied by her husband, Jeffrey Chiam, who became Dual Pilgrim number 5,001. Both traveled the Kumano Kodo in 2018 and the Camino de Santiago in 2023.

From Turismo de Santiago, June-Lian Mok was given a small gift to celebrate that 5,000 people from more than 60 countries have already traveled the Kumano Kodo and the Camino de Santiago.

Credential-Kumano-Santiago-bt

The official Dual Pilgrim Credential features both pilgrimage routes—one on each side.  So you can complete the Kumano Kodo and the Way of St.James using the same documentation.
